Welcome to the Local Transportation Bureau's Submittable webpage. Here you will find all of the funding programs that are currently available for local agencies to apply for. 

  • If you wish to apply, you must first create a free Submittable account.  You will be prompted to create your account when you hit submit below.

The purpose of the Highway Safety Improvement Program is to achieve a significant reduction in traffic fatalities and serious injuries on all public roads.  It is one of the four core federal programs and is authorized by 23 U.S.C. 148. The program is administered by the Traffic and Safety Operations Section located in the Design Bureau.
